This original 1940's French made fridge has been fully restored to its original glory, It is rare to have solid mahogany panels inlayed within the structure of the oak doors, which give a lovely colour contrast.
We reclaimed it from a farm house in Limoges where it was being used as a domestic fridge and had been by the owner for the past 60 years.
We have installed new internal hardwood adjustable shelving.
All the doors and internal surfaces have been stainless steel lined, and all the catches, hinges and handles have been replaced with our own unique brass / bronze furniture.
The fridge is digitally, thermostatically controlled with an LED display panel.
The lighting internally is LED and is controlled by open and close switches which have been fitted to each door.
It has also been fitted with our own fan refrigeration design, which instead of blowing air from the fans at the top of the fridge, suck the cold air from the fridge and take this down a cavity at the back which is then exhaled through vents at the base of the fridge. This process allows for a more even distribution of the cold air throughout the whole interior storage area.
The exterior is unfinished and has just been sanded with extremely fine paper to a polished patina.
