This original "English Rose" fridge freezer, was manufactured by C.S.A Industries in the late 40's early 1950's to accompany their hand made fitted kitchen units.

English Rose fitted kitchens were designed in the late 1940s by Warwick-based Constant Speed Airscrews (CSA) Industries, a company that had originally manufactured parts for aircraft during World War Two. It seems the firm had come up with an ingenious way of utilising its engineering expertise, machinery and workforce when peacetime finally arrived, and the result – the beautifully designed, American-style English Rose – was one of the first, if not the first, modular kitchens available in Europe.

This example of their first Fridge freezer, has been beautifully restored to its original glory, and has been fitted with a brand new Condenser and evaporator.

This is one of the nicest fridges I have aver owned, the craftsmanship and attention to detail in even the smallest pieces of construction in this fridge are truly remarkable, as you will see from the images that accompany this text.
