Fridges B44, B45, B46, B47, B49 and B53 are bespoke to The Vintage Fridge Company.

These were designed, by our in house joinery, on the Brazilian Geladeira, but we have removed the top ice chamber to allow full height doors and a greater amount of internal storage. We use a timber called ‘Red Grandis’ to construct the fridge with, as this is the closest sustainable, South American hardwood to the original ‘Peroba’ wood used to build the original fridges, as this is now regrettably extinct.

We have built this fridge replacing the solid timber back shown in B45 and replaced it with two glazed doors, so that the fridge can be accessed from both sides. Enabling it to either be free standing in the centre of a room or incorporated into a bar to allow for restocking.
